Who am I?
A young aussie chick obsessed with food!! I love smelling it, looking at it, touching it and most of all eating it! To compensate for my infatuation I try to eat as healthy as possible so I can "afford" those naughty treats! I'm also a little frugal, trying to save money for the future!I'm also a bit of a traveller at the moment - work has me flying around Australia, with nowhere to really call home at the moment! Adelaide is where all my things are, but I cannot call myself a true Adelaidian yet!
What's this blog for?
Me and like-minded people. I'll be reviewing food products, cheapo tips, recipes, restaurants, and other random things along the way. I hope to help you stomp out those dastardly diet-destroyers by "healthifying" recipes.
What do I eat?
What don't I eat! I love food, especially breakfast and fresh, healthy food. Every day I eat 3 meals and several snacks if I can. I am a massive sweet tooth - to the extent of it being a problem so I try and cut back a bit. Because of work, food is provided and paid for, so I have to get creative if I wanna stay good. But I usually cave come dessert! Hopefully this blog will keep me accountable.I love chocolate, peanut butter, caramel (together is even better) but I am lucky and also LOVE fruits like mango, berries, plums and will happily munch on tofu or a steak. I also love hummus, garlic, chinese and turkish food.I would like to be an 80-20 eater. But when I am more of a 50-50 I have to exercise to help maintain balance.
What exercise do you do?
To be honest I hate exercise in general. I find running frustrating and painful. BUT dont give up - you just need to find something you like. And I LOVE fitness classes. Aerobic, weights, dancing, ANYTHING. Can't get enough. I am so busy trying to be co-ordinateed I dont even realise I'm burning it up! But once again, work hours and locations mean I can't be a gym member with any stability, so I try and keep fit myself, any way I can!
So welcome to the blog. I can't promise good humour or frequent updates, but I'l try my best to share yummy recipes, new foods that hit the shelves (especially if you're on a health kick or some sort of diet) fitness tips, reviews on restaurants around the country etc.
